Review on Farberware Angle Bolster Sharpening Steel by Laurie Fisher

The Farberware name doesn't usually disappoint, but in this case it does, at least to me. years and I've tried almost everything. Personally, I've had the most success with the bars, but I was still excited to try it as getting the blade angle right and consistent can be one of the biggest challenges. All I can say is that I didn't feel safe using the top down method presented in this listing. It seems unstable and ill-conceived, and I can see it easily becoming an accident for someone not comfortable with a knife. I'll take it on myself and give it two stars if it's my user's fault and not the sharpener's fault, but I don't really plan to use it from now on.
