I've spent over $500 on Yakima and Thule racks that I use at least 3-4 times a week. I was so excited I decided to try this rack as a backup for Yakima. It arrived a few weeks ago and I was so amazed by the quality and features after using it a few times that I had two bikes in the back, each costing more than my car, and I rode with friends at the weekend 300 miles round trip and race. I tested this pose this weekend and it is now my main pose. No problem with fat tires. No problem with uneven fire brigade routes. I-80 at 85 mph, no problem; Last minute rig repair before departure, no problem. I only had to activate the pipette on one of the MTBs to clear the slats. This item won't wobble or wobble - it's rock solid!
