It was pretty easy to fit so no complaints. I think it could have been done a bit better, for example the straps could have been done differently. This is fine for local travel, but not recommended for out-of-state travel.

I like that I can still get in and out of the trunk after unloading the bikes (we took them with us). A little bike lube on the pin helps speed up the process, which is a plus! My friend's stance was a little easier to manipulate than mine, but had a better physique.

We bought several of these. My husband is a car geek and sent back four bike racks because they either scratched the car or were flimsy or some other reason. He loves this one. He bought two more. We now have a Lexus sedan, a GMC van and a BMW 325ci convertible. This works for EVERYONE. Connecting and setting up takes less than ten minutes. I wish the manual said "use a wrench of this size" for installation. I had to try a few before I found the right size. 16/17mm if I remember correctly. It was easy to assemble. Several bolts and nuts. The part that attaches to the tow bar has a plastic/rubber part that adds volume to the metal frame. The metal frame does not cover the full width of the hitch. Sturdy construction. Assembly is easy. You will need 2 17mm box wrenches, a crescent wrench, a socket wrench or a combination of both. I have used this bike rack to keep a couple of mountain bikes in working condition for a ride without to transport serious problems . although I ended up adding a hitch tensioner as it wobbled a bit on the freeway.
