Very impressed with these replacement mirrors. Large mirrors provide impressive visibility, especially when towing and reversing. They were packaged very well and with extremely thick weatherproof foam. As mentioned, the foam backing makes installation difficult. I used a quick clamp like someone recommended to hold the mirror in place and squeeze the styrofoam to tighten the two nuts, then tighten each a little to install the other two and tighten in a star . The cable adapters worked great. I didn't have to trim the mirrors to fit, so I suspect the manufacturer took advantage of suggestions from previous comments. They fit on the door like factory mirrors. Time will tell if they will last as long as the OEM (20 years). Personally I wish I had upgraded sooner, it's amazing how much more I can see with these mirrors.
