These glasses work wonders when it comes to keeping drinks cold. Did a parallel test with my favorite cocktail in a regular martini glass and in this glass. About halfway through, the martini glass was cold, bordering on cool. The drink in Bodum was still ice cold. When the drink in the martini glass was ready it was room temperature while the drink in the bodum was still very cold. The smaller format is ideal for shorter cocktails and chilled shots from the freezer. The glasses are really light and takes a little getting used to, especially if you love heavy drinking vessels like I do. They're supposed to be dishwasher safe, but I hand wash them as I don't run the washing machine often and only have a few jars. I will be buying more at some point in the near future.
