Suitable for small pets
I have pet rabbits, so I found chicken wire to be a better fit for keeping small pets indoors. What I have found with these gates is that a child or dog can easily push them out the door. The locking system is a little tricky to fit snugly in a crooked doorway in an old house. I like the strength of wood and wire. Rabbits chew on plastic, so wire is perfect for ferrets, rabbits, or guinea pigs.
