I bought them to go camping. I hand wash them in my own laundry soap mix (Kirk's Castile soap and baking soda) and hang them to dry. They wash well and dry very quickly. I'm not sure if I want to machine wash them. They're not very big on their own, but if you take off two at a time, they'll hold onto the perforation well, even after washing. The texture is odd, but they absorb water and wring out just as well as a paper towel. I'm excited to see how well they compost when I'm finally done with them.
