Almost perfect for external components
I bought this switch after encountering reliability issues with my previous switch and BRIO 4K camera. All 4 peripherals work fine and I now have two additional host ports that I didn't have before if I want to connect more to them. switching speed too low. It wouldn't be a big deal other than you have to switch between all host sockets and it takes a bit each time you switch. I only have 2 computers connected, but I have to switch between all 4 host sockets before switching between them, which is a bit strange.
