Review on SMACO by Mohammed Prude

Being a fan of do-it-yourself projects, I couldn't wait to check out SMACO, an online retailer that focuses on sporting goods and outdoor equipment. I'm sorry to admit that I was let down by the whole thing. To begin, they didn't have a wide variety of tools and equipment for home improvement projects. I was an experienced user in search of a particular power tool that they didn't stock. The quality of the tools they did have left a lot to be desired. The second issue is that they have unreasonably high prices. My experience as a frequent buyer of tools and equipment has led me to conclude that SMACO's pricing are far higher than those of competing internet retailers. Last but not least, their support staff fell short of expectations. It took several days for them to get back to me after I had an inquiry regarding a product. When I finally got a response, it was vague and didn't really answer my question. In general, I would not suggest SMACO to other do-it-yourselfers. Those in need of high-quality tools and equipment for their projects will find them to be a less-than-ideal option due to their restricted selection, exorbitant costs, and bad customer support.
