Bought this before going on a 10 day 1900 mile adventure bike ride. I mentioned the bike type because not only has this seat withstood the pavement, it has also withstood mud, rocks, bike falls, stick/branch hits and inclement weather. I'm sure I wouldn't have enjoyed the ride as much without this product, it really saved me from serious tailbone pain and other back ailments. We averaged over 100 miles on 10 consecutive days. To get the most out of this product, it hardly needs to be pumped up. You don't want to over inflate as this is too stiff and does nothing better than the seat. Everything in the middle will be soft and you will feel yourself sliding from side to side and back and forth as the air shifts to different Moved areas of the air cushion. Just the right amount of air gives you maybe 1/4 inch of air cushion from the seating surface. I bought a dual sport model to use on both my KTM 450EXC off-road bike and my KTM 950 Adventure. It's more like a cruiser saddle shape but worked great on my ADV but haven't tried it on the EXC yet.
