This camera has a wide view angle and is quite high quality, but to use it as a webcam it needs to be set to 4k, 24 frames per second or to get about 1440p if I want 60 fps. A 100 degree lens means I can be fully in the picture but the rest of my room is out of the picture like some wide-angle cameras are. I personally don't think it was a webcam. but I can't think of so many other uses for it because the image isn't sharp enough (especially at 2880p) to be used as a camera or anything unless there's some fancy software. I tested this with my Windows. 10 and it worked right away without drivers with the camera app, skype and some other programs. Focusing works well and draws light well even in a dimly lit room.
