Review on πŸ₯€ Anchor Hocking Chiller Glass Pitcher with Lid, 64-Ounce: Keep Your Beverages Refreshingly Cold by Kawaguchi Burgess

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best jug for the money

I have been using these jugs for over ten years now. They are very durable, although I should note that one of them broke after a few years of use when I quickly poured a full pot of boiling water into it (even then it didn't explode - just securely broke around the base, never cracked or caved in made a mess). However, I've used these hot water jugs a lot in the past to make iced tea - I think letting the water stand a bit or even pouring it more slowly will prevent breakage and I will continue to use them to make tea. . I like these pitchers because the lids fit well and the glass is thick and durable - I can shake shakes and other drinks with ice, herbs and/or fruit before serving. I only use glass, not thick plastic, because it doesn't leach chemicals into acidic drinks, and finding sturdy glass jugs with a lid proved more difficult than I expected. I have about 6 of these and use them all the time.
