To ensure a quality product on this door handle. It's very well made and the clips are the strongest I've seen since trying pens from two other brands. The spring is strong and quickly returns the handle to its original position and at the same time there is a strong 'pop' which is reassuring as the last time I broke it after just 3 days of normal use of the handle. I was able to install this without removing the door panel but I have long thin fingers and I also used needle nose pliers and a flat head screwdriver. Once the bars line up with the holes, it's easy. I will let you know if there are any issues with future use but as I said this is the highest quality pen I have ever purchased. You really get what you pay for, this pair of $12 pens doesn't fit so don't waste your money.
