Review on 💡 EVGA 500W1 Power Supply, 80 Plus White 500W (100-W1-0500-KR) by Brian Evans

When I first got this power supply, it made my computer happy! But over time, my computer started behaving strangely. Monitor, keyboard and mouse become disabled (monitor gets no signal, mouse becomes unusable and keyboard just turns off) and becomes unusable from time to time and I have to turn the computer off and on again all the time! So I went back to my old 460w PSU and so far the monitor, keyboard and mouse haven't turned off. I would probably be wary of buying that. Thank you and have a nice day. Update - September 2020: I've never spoken about this before but I contacted EVGA and they agreed to send me a new one after I sent them the defective one. When I got the new PSU it worked fine for a few months then for some reason the computer started doing all those weird things it used to do when I thought it was my build I got as a gift . So I saved money for a new computer and used this power supply for a new build. Everything worked fine for the first few weeks, then the same thing, no signal on the monitor, mouse and keyboard stopped working. And it only happens when I'm not doing anything on the computer. If I find a solution I will definitely change the rating or leave it as it is. But yesterday I was in Photoshop and did some sketches and then he did it again! The screen flickered, there was no signal, the mouse and keyboard stopped working. So I have no idea, I updated everything and made sure all the cables are connected properly.
