I was pretty excited to find these on Walmart as it costs $30 for 3 heads of "Ryobi" Brand Trimmer Spool. I have used these for about 2 months now and have a few thoughts:- These look identical to the Ryobi spool and are very easy to install, so that part was a big success!- Technically speaking, these do work. They trim my edges and I have no issues there.- My issue is the durability. My mowing/edging season goes from April - October generally. And previously it takes me that entire 7 month time span to go through 3 spools of the Ryobi Brand. With this brand, it has been 2 months and I have already gone through 4 spools!- So to me, the material they make these out of is clearly different because I never went through other spool this fastAll in all, yes this trimmer spool works on my Ryobi electric edger. It does trim your weeds but the quality is definitely lower in my eyes so expect to go through it fast. Maybe it will work better for you but this has been my experience, good luck!
