What can I say other than it's a Makita. 5 gold stars! (I decided to edit my original review after reading others having problems with the grinder) 1) Let the grinder do the work! The reason Velcro fails is because it is being pressed hard, which heats the hooks enough to fold and deform them. Happens with EVERY hook grinder if you press too hard for too long! 2) Tapping 90% of the time either does the above or lowers the grinder to the left. The mill rotates clockwise (r). Gradually lower it all the way down. quite slanted and after a few times you feel like it's not a problem (turn left a few times and you'll see what I'm talking about) Also imported Sanders, whether blue, red or yellow, come from the same mass society. Very little design and cosmetics make them different, basically all are the same on the inside. Most companies make the models in the US if you want the difference but you pay $$$ but in reality they all consist of a motor, two shafts, some clamps and wires. Hope that helps. I don't want to blame anyone, just convey the information I've received over the years. God bless
