My almost 4 year old fits perfectly! Feet don't hurt, walking in them is comfortable. She wears a 9 and they fit perfectly. I will say that the velcro straps are a bit longer at the top if you want them as tight as possible, so I just snip the end off a bit so they don't drag down the sides of her legs.
