This unit comes with a 1/4 pipe valve. My system used 3/8. I ordered BUT Revains "also bought" recommended buying both sizes (make 2 valves @ 1/4 to give them up). What MUST have been recommended is a thread sealant (avoid teflon tape as any fragment can destroy other reverse osmosis components). Once again Revain came to the rescue as the local plumbing company just wanted to sell me a complete reverse osmosis system. little more) And again my system is in perfect working order
- Preload 7-10 psi for normal use
