Imperfect design due to open slats on the side that my fish could "catch " with its fins.
delivery was fast but I'm afraid to use this heater because of the design. The heater is small and nicely shaped, especially for a small 5 gallon aquarium; However, the open slats on the side with bare coils scare me! The slats are big enough that small fish or fish with decorated fins (like my betta) could potentially snag or snag their fins on the slats, exposing them to the reels. I can't in good conscience use this heater.
