Apparently I didn't read carefully.

I must have misunderstood the max temperature as I prefer 400 degrees Fahrenheit which is only 392. Otherwise, the press has worked well so far, despite being quite heavy. The base is the worst I have ever dealt with and takes too long to assemble but still looks shabby. In the end it is enough for a beginner.
