Review on Sierra International OP24891 White Oil Pressure Sender: Reliable Performance for Precise Monitoring by David Gibbs

This transmitter worked great. I have 2 fuel gauges on my boat.

This transmitter worked great. I have 2 fuel level sensors on my boat, this sensor is perfect for this application. At zero pressure the resistance drops to 120 ohms and approaches zero as the pressure increases. You need to pair your sensor with the transmitter. Some start with low resistances and increase as oil pressure increases, others vice versa. If you put in a new sensor and your gauge seems to reverse, ie oil pressure drops as RPM increases, wrong sensor. Measure the sensor you have if it has a high resistance at zero pressure, then at zero pressure you will get a low resistance sensor. Also, if you want your meter to read accurately, in other words, if it reads 50psi, it's really 50, not 55 or 45 or whatever, then you need to match the transmitter's impedance to your meter. Otherwise, it's more of a pressure reading than an accurate measurement.
