Review on ๐Ÿƒ Unveiling the All-New Five Crowns Card Game by SET Enterprises: Elevating Your Card Gaming Experience! by Mike Malvo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for adults, not the best for a 7 year old.

My 7 year old daughter fell in love with UNO after receiving it as a Christmas present and wanted to try other card games. To be honest this isn't one of her favorites out of the 5 or so I've bought her. I think it's because the game lacks zest compared to some games for kids (there are no cute cartoon characters on the cards or anything), I think it's a bit difficult for a 7 year old kid and I guess not that it's suitable for multiple hands Counting catches the attention of a 7-year-old. I am sure at this point you are wondering why I gave this 5 stars? Well my wife and I really enjoy this game so while debating 4 stars I decided to give it 5 for now (although see below for the quality of the cards). This game is very similar to rummy but with a twist. There are no twos or aces here, but there is a fifth suit and lots of jokers. Basically, rummy is played starting with a 3-card hand, then a 4-card hand, then a 5-card hand, and so on, up to a 13-card hand. You try to get out first. If you don't, you have another round to get rid of all 3+ cards you have and the ones you can't put in, you'll be stuck with points (low score is good) no matter how high your card is is. . At the end of the 13-card draw, the player with the fewest points wins. I like this game because a) two people can play and have fun - it's quite rare in card games in general and it's a good find for me and my wife too. b) I like rummy but I find it a bit boring and the game spices up rummy just enough to make it more interesting and c) it's not super hard and I find it relaxing to play the wounds you have, but that's not bad). He also moves pretty fast. We need about 30 minutes to play 3-13 card hands. I have to say, especially since I bought several decks at once and had something to compare to, I don't think these cards are of very high quality. They feel thin and have hardly any shine, as if they were covered with a protective varnish. I wonder if they will wear well over time if we use them often. What I really like is that the game comes in a reasonably sized box with a small card slot. Many of these games come in much larger boxes than necessary and still have no place to store cards, making it difficult to carry the game to different houses and store it without good reason.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No performance
