. I installed it in about 5 minutes with a simple hand screwdriver. It's only really strong in regular drywall in my room. The shelf was already attached to the base and all I did was install a shorter set of screws to attach the shelf to the base. I used longer screws to attach the base to the wall and wrapped the HomePod cable around the back for cable management. Now that it's wall mounted it feels really secure and I feel safe with my HomePod mini resting on it. This is a great way to place your smart speaker higher on the wall and isn't limited to being near a wall power connection like many other smart speaker mounting options that require it. This is a good product that is easy to install and you don't need to have any experience building things.
