Overall this is a great product. I am a commercial seaplane pilot in the Bahamas and wanted my pilot bag to be waterproof, highly visible and easy to carry/use. and the other was a 20 liter yellow hi-vis bag. I'll review both, starting with a 10 liter bag. 10l. One thing to note about these bags is that they require 3-4 folds before you zip up the top to be effectively waterproof. This means the bags aren't as tall as you might think just looking at them in the packaging. I haven't really tried to measure the size of the bag when closed to see if it really is 10 liters, but I suspect that the total space decreases when closed (especially depending on how many folds you make before closing insert). With that in mind, I can recommend 10L for 3-4 medium sized portables (which I'll get into in more detail in a moment). ), a passport booklet, sunscreen and a mini iPad. It was convenient but I was still able to get 3 rolls and close the bag with no problem. It was ok at first but I wanted a little more space so I could carry extra items like extra clothes, bandages, water etc as my days are long and I spend them in the sun. I now carry a 10 liter bag with me (folded perfectly in my 20 liter bag) as an extra buoy in case I need to cut the anchor line. These bags are airtight when properly sealed and once sealed they will keep the residual air inside. Now all I have to do is breathe some air into the bag, roll it up, snap it shut, and it becomes a lifeline or lifeline. d I caution you against going for the larger size if you are unsure and constrained by a small pocket space. 20 liter bag: The 20 liter bag works the same as the 10 liter bag but offers twice the space. I have enough space for all of the above items plus some. An added bonus is that the 20L comes with two straps instead of one, so I can wear it as a backpack when touring the islands. Also, there really isn't much of a difference between the bags. Pros: Bags are easy to use and versatile. The color options are great, especially when your use of the bag might end up going overboard. Packaging floats when properly sealed. No water has yet been detected in my bags (but I would still be extra careful and seal anything that absolutely cannot get wet in another plastic bag). Cons: - Folding the backpack saves some space, which means you need to plan your space carefully if you want a waterproof bag! The pouch is not designed to be immersed in water for more than a few seconds. it's waterproof for swimming (which it is). If you leave it submerged for too long, the water pressure can cause liquid to seep into the bag. Overall I would say this is a great, CHEAP, and easy to use product. Trust someone who spends all day in the sea: it works!
