If you have a pellet stove and are buying a PowerSmith PAVC101 10 amp vacuum you MUST buy this cleaning kit. (PS vacuum hose attachments keep you from getting into the nooks and crannies of a pellet stove.) You'll probably just use a flexible hose and brush, but trust me. These 2 items alone make this kit worth every penny. When cleaning your pellet stove's retractable vents, use a pipe to go from one vent to the other (inside the stove) and you will scream in horror at how much ash will collect there. The tube allows you to get everything. (Fire it on!) The complaint of the hose falling out of the rubber fitting is true. Quick and easy fix: Apply some silicone sealant to the hose-to-rubber fitting. This prevents it from falling out but remains flexible enough to later remove the tube if you need to replace it. The brush is very soft and will not scratch the surface of your oven and cleans the glass door and refractory very well. To reiterate, you NEED this accessory if you have a pellet stove and have purchased the PowerSmith PAVC101.
