I've been told the best they do is 40% but I had such a massive problem (along with all my neighbors) that I got myself decided to try it. After 1 week my problem was solved and I'm sure it will continue to serve as a barrier in our home over time. My neighbors read the bad reviews and went with traditional methods. They still bait and trap to get rid of dead mice. I saw no mouse droppings, no mice, no sign of anything. I would also like to add that I placed 2 in my large rooms. My neighbors spent a lot more than I did and are still fighting for a good fight. Easy as pie, worth the money.
