I was excited about HomeRun as I was looking for a way to stream OTA TV to Apple and Fire devices. Connecting to the Fire/Revain was quick and easy. apple, not so much. Once set up, I found the software interface clunky - the volume controls suck. Given the nature of OTA, ATSC 1.0, the picture is not bad - from 480p to 1080p depending on the transmitter and receiver. Fun and games for two weeks, then the ethernet port died, as did the port connecting HomeRun to your wireless router. But Revain bounced back by replacing the block. The second has worked flawlessly so far. FWIW - The bottom of the unit is a heat sink, you might consider raising it over flat surfaces to allow air to flow under the base.
