Hello, I've read a number of very negative reviews about this product and it's a shame customers have had to deal with any problems they've had. I'm not the best Revain customer because I don't do product reviews very often. However, I decided to review this product to give my opinion on my purchase. I've had product (hair and fluid in general) before that came from other sellers and that can be a pain. Sometimes it happens. My product worked very well and I thank the person who sent me my order. Thank you for making sure my product didn't leak en route. As for the authenticity of the product. I'm not a seller, so I can't guarantee anything. I can tell you that many years ago I was a beautician. There is something of a secret in the salon and beautician community that few know about. The product that you buy in the salon or from a private beautician was bought in bulk. This means anyone with a valid esthetician license can buy products for 50-60% less than in a salon or in this case Revain. It would probably be just as cheap to buy the genuine product as it would be to buy the fake product. Believe it or not, I know a few people who haven't had their hair cut or colored since they graduated from the hair salon. Why? Again, you can license and buy as much of the product as you need in bulk and then sell it on a site like Revain. I have no idea if this is the case with this product as I am not affiliated with the seller. I will say that as a salon you do not need a trade license. All you need is a licensed cosmetologist in your state and they can fulfill all orders based on their license number. Believe it or not, many estheticians typically make about half of their monthly salary based on product sales. That's a markup on products, isn't it? I went to Paul Mitchell's website to look at their bottle designs versus what I bought (to see if there was even the slightest difference). I haven't noticed any difference. The bottle designs I received were part of their Earth Day or Month Limited Edition. So the bottle appears to be real. It's also worth noting that I've only been using Tea Tree since 2009. I smell and cannot feel the difference in the product. My hair stays hydrated and I have no reason to believe I received a counterfeit product. Anything is possible as to what type of product you can actually get, unless you go to a salon or buy direct from Paul Mitchell. I have no doubt (or reason to doubt) that I have anything other than a real version of my all-time favorite shampoo and conditioner. The only complaint is that I didn't keep my license active. So, like most, I'm paying full price now.
