These large silicone ice trays are a perfect fit! We just used a mold to make holiday ice cubes for holiday cocktails. They were a hit and so easy to make! As mentioned, if you don't clean them thoroughly before first use, you'll end up spoiling your drinks with a plastic-tasting ice cube. I washed them in dish soap, then added some water, frozen and threw that batch away. I washed it again, then used it as usual and there were no problems. I also appreciate that these shells have some structural rigidity so they stand up properly and don't fall off like other silicone molds usually do. Removing the ice was pretty easy, I didn't want to take it out of the silicone mold and risk breaking it so I just poured some warm water on my back and that worked.
