I've built hundreds of new computers and repaired hundreds of broken ones. I've used many brands of PSUs, from the cheapest Chinese junk to premium brands like SeaSonic and Hewlett Packard to name a few. I've seen 3 new motherboards burn out in a row because of a cheap Chinese brand APower PSU that 'seemed' to be working fine, but wasn't working. EVGA PSUs are high quality, mid-range PSUs that I find economical and very reliable. That's why I bought this EVGA 600 Ba, 80 Plus Bronze 600W PSU. This purchase is for an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 X processor installed on an Asus motherboard with a 1TB Samsung SSD. The system memory is 16 GB DDR4 RAM. This EVGA 600 Ba, 80 Plus Bronze 600W PSU works flawlessly and is almost silent. The fan noise is barely noticeable when I sit 3 feet away from the PC. The bottom line is that this EVGA 600 Ba, 80 Plus Bronze 600W power supply is reliable and affordable. My experience with the EVGA brand has shown that the power supply lasts long after the rest of the computer has become obsolete. It was a smart purchase. You can spend more, but you may not get more for your money.
