Great as a USB switch if you have multiple monitor inputs.
I use this as a USB switch, I didn't use the VGA ports at all. My monitor had both DVI and HDMI connections so I could switch between my Mac and PC on the monitor, but I needed a way to use a keyboard and mouse and switch between the two systems. I used a USB hub and manually routed the cable from one system to another. Pros: Easily switch between systems. The status display shows which system is being used. Cables to the systems are included switches, that's the problem, it's the operating system)
