This item had so many features I wanted that I thought it would be excellent. Unfortunately it doesn't work due to several things. Edit: The company emailed me and explained that this can be configured by hitting the snooze button. It helps a lot. First, the numbers are VERY bright. I use it next to my bed and it's so bright I can't sleep. Even putting a sheet of paper in front of the numbers only dims it to night light level (and you can still read it through the paper). As far as I can tell, there is no way to obfuscate these numbers. Second, the flat charging pad gently slopes down and away from the watch. I didn't think about it, but after a few nights I realized my phone was slowly slipping away at night so it never got a full charge. To be fair, I have an iPhone that feels particularly slippery on the surface, but it's still not very good. Third, the photo/mirror slot is very loose on one side, so the mirror/photo slides out easily by simply tilting the frame. Nothing bad, but annoying. Finally, the flat base and vertical photo/mirror are not connected, they simply sit together with very weak magnets. It's very easy to separate 2 and that turns the clock off. Temperature and hydrometer seem to be working fine. So I really wanted to like it, but it just doesn't live up to my expectations.
