I know it's sold as a laptop/phone/tablet stand and it's great for that purpose. It's attractive, the silicone coating protects your gear from scratches, and it's easy to adjust. It's sturdy enough with a wide base so you don't have to worry about it tipping over and you can make adjustments when you switch devices. The finish is also very appealing, but I've found another use. I keep mine on my desk and use it to keep my moleskin bound journal close at hand. My phone is in the second slot. Either way, attractive, functional and highly recommended.
