Review on Emerson CKS1800 SmartSet Radio Display by Sam Pullen

I bought this unit because the Emerson CKS3528 was discontinued. The first thing I noticed was that the display is darker, but tolerable. Now, six months later, he suddenly decides to jump ahead an hour! Today is April 8th - why? I unplugged it, plugged it back in and it stays fast for an hour. I have checked the time zone setting and it is correct. I then unplugged it and took out the backup battery for about four hours. I put the battery back in, plugged in the power and now it's been off for over three hours! I had to set the correct time manually. I had six Emerson CKS3528 models and one of them started to lose part of the display (so I bought this one). We once had a 3 hour power outage and after power was restored all five CKS3528s went out for an hour and ten minutes! I couldn't reset them to the correct time until I manually set them! I will NEVER buy an Emerson SmartSet watch again and am looking for something to replace the six I have because I don't trust them!
