Oh my god this thing is great. I've been soldering my boards in small quick clamps for a long time because I wanted something flat and light. I know there are little PCB holders and such, but they always seemed like this. thin and poor quality. Things like Panavise are great, but they're pretty big. This guy holds your board right on the table, and the spring-loaded jaw makes it perfect for small production jobs as you can swap out circuit boards very quickly. I also like that they post the full specs on their customization site. I'll probably take another one and put in some jaw bolts to work with boards with switches etc installed. The aluminum is well machined and overall the parts fit together very well. The only issue I had is that the rear clamping portion is right above the jaws, which allows the entire vise to wobble a bit. This doesn't affect the functionality of the vise much, but it is noticeable. I wish there was an option to buy them without sponges or just with Teflon sponges pre-installed. I suspect nylon sponges are cheap enough to make more sense than having to manage more products, but I really don't need them.
