Review on ๐Ÿƒ Saucony Women's Guide 13: Your Perfect Companion for Optimal Support and Comfort by Travis Caminiti

terrible in wet weather

I replaced my worn out Guide 10 with these. All the reviews say they like it but I don't. They're a bit heavier and too bucket-seat to be that responsive, but I like the new, stiffer outsole as it keeps me from pronating and has good toe-off. The heel is much wider than the 10's and I have to use the tallest lugs so I don't slip out, which I've never done in all my days of running. The new design puts the toe protection in the mesh and it looks slick BUT the mesh absorbs water into the shoe when you're on wet pavement and doesn't let it out except spraying it over the top with every step! Squish, squish through wet toes. hicks! Saucony needs to reconsider this stupid style change. I'll keep them as they're still best for light pronation, but I'll probably use my 10's for wet pronation.
