Not suitable as wide shoes.

This product is supposed to be a wide shoe and both the shoe and the box say it is a wide shoe but I have regular Saucony shoes which are wider. Very uncomfortable.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Weight

Good support - strange separation

In general I like the shoes, but the sides burst in the first month of wearing. The fit is great and they offer stability so I'm not sure if it's some sort of coincidence but they split on both shoes.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Uncomfortable Good for walking

I've worn Saucony rings for years and love them. It was incredibly uncomfortable. I ordered the same size I have always worn but right out of the box they were tight in the toe area and causing pain in my feet and legs.

  • Comfortable to wear

Not what I had hoped for. Athletic

I did a lot of research and thought they would make a good pair, even went to my local running shoe store to try them out. I'm starting to walk on the treadmill and after pregnancy I wanted something for my legs. My legs have never hurt so much after running. I ended up returning them and got a pair of $60 shoes that make my feet feel great.

  • GOLS certified

wide toe, hard sole, that's what I wanted and that's what I got!

So far good for plantar fasciitis. It has a piece of hard plastic visible from the side. This shoe has almost no flex, which is good if you want to keep your feet flat. The toe box is comfortable and they are definitely a size 12 as opposed to some shoes which appear to be 12-12.5. This is real and looks good.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Protection

FABULOUS FIXES: Road Running

I haven't had a new pair of Saucony rails since Guide 10. This Guide 13 has support in all the right places. On my first run, I noticed harshness in the bow. My foot lands in the middle so the extra arch support is perfect for me. This shoe definitely has more spring than the Triumph Isofite which was a terrible shoe for me (looks like memory foam). I also like the style, nice soft color. I liked my guide 10 but I think 13 will be even better.

Pros
  • High score for grip and durability from the testers
Cons
  • I don't like anything about it, everything is fine

Great shoe but ripped on first wear

I've been wearing Saucony rings for years. These are great shoes that offer great support without being restrictive. Over time every pair I've had has split when opened but usually takes at least a few months to run. Not so with this couple. I put them on for a 45 minute walk around the neighborhood, came home and both shoes broke upon opening. I exchange them for a new pair and hope for a better result. Unacceptable for shoes in this price range.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons

Found my new favorite shoe

I have arthritis in my feet. I haven't found anything convenient. I've been looking for comfortable shoes for years. I went too far to tape my feet even though I knew I would be walking a lot. I started with Nike, then Asasics, both were comfortable, then the company changed the way they were made. This brand is my favorite at the moment until they changed. I added an orthopedic insole. You are perfect now. I have tried several brands with different insoles. I found the best comfort formula inโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Available in white only

terrible in wet weather

I replaced my worn out Guide 10 with these. All the reviews say they like it but I don't. They're a bit heavier and too bucket-seat to be that responsive, but I like the new, stiffer outsole as it keeps me from pronating and has good toe-off. The heel is much wider than the 10's and I have to use the tallest lugs so I don't slip out, which I've never done in all my days of running. The new design puts the toe protection in the mesh and it looks slick BUT the mesh absorbs water into the shoeโ€ฆ

  • 1 year test
