I think the title says it all. The ear broke off at the slightest pressure on the attachment point (on a flat/proper surface). There may have been a production hiatus on this tab, but it feels flimsy and cheap. I wouldn't expect it to endure much from environments where you see stretch or flex or extreme temperature changes. Poles that are too open and don't have rubber caps to cover most of it aren't a good safety measure. UPDATE: I REALLY DON'T WANT TO TRY TO BUY. This indicates that I lack character and integrity. Rather than trying to identify and fix the issues, the company has tried to buy my silence and let other people buy their product without knowing the existing terms (which may or may not affect your particular application).
