Review on Amaseaudio Upgrade Screen Android Without by Nick Griffith

7/25/20 This is an update to my previous post. The customer service was described as exceptional but the product is still on Android 9. The representative spent over 7 days with me to try to update the device to Android 10 and also fix the Easylink issue. They ended up sending me another main device but the new one was also on Android 9. I was rude to the representative and even aggressive at times, but the customer service representative remained professional and guided me step by step. I missed that kind of customer service. Even though the head unit is Android 9, it helped me to get Carplay as well as Easylink working with the new head unit. For this reason, the rating is changed to 4. It's not Android 10. It's a 10-inch Android 9 head unit. There's a line in the description that says it's Android 9, but all other specs and descriptions are for an Android 10 main unit. I wanted to return the item but spent hours installing the cable for this unit from the trunk. I didn't want to remove and install another expansion kit for another device, so I kind of got stuck with this device. Basically good looks and acceptable sound quality. EasyLink is useless as it disconnects every few seconds. WiFi works but is slow. A functional unit, but I feel misled. Ouch! The operating instructions for the device are in the device as a PDF file. how stupid is that. How can I read the instructions and work on a screen? last thing. no instructions that it was ever included.
