I received this set of 3 pens with another brand LED whitening bath with red and blue light. The trays are always a little uncomfortable and I drooled too much after the first two uses so I didn't notice much of a difference. Now I take hairstylist cotton strips and stick them in my gums to soak up saliva while I use the tray. It works wonders! Now I see a huge difference every time I use the tablet. You can use cotton balls if you lay them out in strips. If you don't use cotton, bleach can burn your gums and lips when you apply it to it, and it's hard not to apply it without it. These knobs work just as well as the ones that came with my LED. Tray. They are easy to twist to get the product onto the brush and easy to apply to teeth. It's much easier for me after putting the cotton between my gums and letting my teeth dry. This way I can make sure I'm putting the right amount of bleach on my teeth. I have a small mouth so it's a little fiddly to put the trays in, but once they're in all's good. I turn on the LEDs for about 15 minutes, take out the trays and cotton and rinse them. These pens bleach very well. They are just as good as the ones that came with another brand's LED tablet. It's great to have a set of three for a while and I think it's a good deal.
