This product is basically the same as most similar products. The thickness is adequate and easy to work with, unlike some increasingly thin foils. Applying and trimming is a breeze. Why the low rating? Well, because this stuff doesn't stick/stick to keep its reputation. I have been involved with window films for many years and due to annual relocations as a military family I have to constantly replace and renew them with every change of address and residence. I'm definitely not new to this type of windows. I am very disappointed in this waste of money. The corners continue to curl up and peel off all four sides of the window. This defeats the purpose of the installation. I've tried several times with no success. It's time to give up and buy a brand that has never let me down. I really wanted to love this product but instead I went back to buying the RabbitGoo brand from Revain. It always works
