Review on ECOGARD S5277 Synthetic Oil Filter by Tony Wylie

New to me CLK 500, I do a couple of quick oil changes with HD oil so didn't remove the filter until sometime after running it. The filter was obviously clogged. I don't have much experience with these motors so can't say for sure it's the filter so I gave it 2 stars. I ordered a BOSCH cartridge with an adhesive spiral to replace the Ecoguard, obviously there is a reason for the reinforcement. To be honest I'm willing to test another Ecoguard if they send it to me. Otherwise, I suggest paying two dollars extra for a proper filter. I'm actually not that picky about filters, but yeah.
