I usually wear baggy pants, but if I go up a size they fit regular shoes, which I did with these shoes (because half sizes and baggy pants weren't available in the quantities I normally wear). I'm a big fan of Aldo shoes in general and I really liked the look of them so I had high hopes for them. Unfortunately, this is one of the few cases where the brand has also let me down. The shoes were too stiff and tight for me to even think about putting them on. I even increased the size but they just didn't fit without feeling like I was going to break either my boot or my leg. My son has shoes the same size as me but narrower (he doesn't wear wide) so I asked him to try them on. He said he could not even put on a heel without considerable effort and pain and refused to wear them. It's a shame, because they look really cool, but I think they're very tight or something. I can't imagine going up more than 2 sizes down from my usual size to fit this model, but if you're between sizes, definitely err on the large side. They are NOT generous with room for your legs.
