Ideal for ice fishing! They work as advertised. If you're only going to be using them for a few hours, simply place them in a 1 liter freezer bag and let all the air out before sealing. The heat will stop and turn on again when removed. They can do this many times before they are gone forever. I would say a total of 10 hours. Don't buy more than you can use in a few months. Too hot on bare skin. I wear mine in the palm of my hand between a pair of wool gloves and wool mittens, with the finger part pulled back to expose my gloved fingers for dexterity. Works perfectly.
