I always use willow or seaweed baskets to store laundry. Weaving and seaweed, while beautiful, aren't the most durable material for a family of four. I needed a strong basket so I chose metal. After buying and loving 1 of these baskets I bought 2 more: 1 basket is for my two teens, 1 basket for my husband and I and 1 basket for towels, sheets and pillowcases. Since these baskets are 12 inches long and wide and 27 inches high, you can pack enough laundry in them (which my son kindly showed me earlier today. ;) As I wanted to tuck these baskets under the table when not when you used it I had to roll it up for easy access. Not wanting to poke holes in my beautiful metal baskets, I attached double sided tape to the bottom 4 corners of each basket and pressed the flat part of the wheel (the part with the screw holes) onto the tape. It's been a few weeks and not a single wheel has come loose, so hooray! Now I can pull these bad guys out from under the table when I need to access them. In case anyone is interested in my setup, I purchased the VASAGLE Computer Folding Desk 39 Inch Desk which I use to fold laundry here on Revain. It's good value, folds away when not in use and as you can see in the video 3 of these baskets fit perfectly underneath. It also looks nice, which is always a plus! If I had one complaint about these baskets, it would be that although the metal in these baskets is of considerable thickness, I can see that they can dent if you or your children are too rough. She. However, I am very happy with these baskets. I just wish they were a little cheaper, but at least they're worth the price. This is important.
