I'm so glad I bought it. We needed a basket for the laundry room that everyone walks by. The basket itself goes well with our decor. The only thing that doesn't work for me is the lid. I'll try someone else's suggestion of putting a contact paper on it. I was worried after reading other reviews that it might get damaged. Ours came in a very sturdy box and was wrapped in bubble wrap. That's great.

I have a decent bathroom but only tiny spots to put a basket. It was one of the few that fit. Bought 2, fit perfectly. They're actually pretty for a basket. The finish is very pleasant. Some people say they wrinkle easily, but I don't move the basket because it includes a canvas bag. If I had a three year old riding a tricycle, I might consider a different basket or just throw the tricycle out of the room.

The basket has a great modern design. I keep mine in the corner of my bedroom and it looks great. I like the look of wooden floors. There is plenty of space for clothes. The retractable laundry bag is a great convenience. It's much easier to take the bag to the laundry and unload the laundry. The slim, tall shape takes up very little space, making it easy to place anywhere. Simple, durable, modern, classic. Fits most decorations. Great alternative to a plastic basket. Removable canvas pocket insert as a bonus. Do not take the basket to the laundry. decent "fancy" laundry hamper although it could use a little more attention to fit and function. I would actually give 3.5 stars if I could. The lid was too tight to fit on the basket (I had to squeeze it with my hand and then it lifted the whole basket up when I tried to remove it). I ran the router around the bottom edges of the lid to make the overhang about 1/8 inch larger and now it fits better.
