Review on Splicer Reducers Barrier Stranded 2 Pack by William Mathis

Connect copper wires to aluminum!

You were a lifesaver. I needed to replace my cooktop and found aluminum wiring sticking out of my electrical box. The hob is obviously copper so it wasn't possible to use a normal twist to connect. There is supposedly a manufacturer of aluminium-to-copper bolted connectors, but even if they are reliable, they were undersized (and expensive). The wires from the wall were #6 and didn't match. I spent about an hour in Menare looking for a solution. Then search Revain and Google for about 25 minutes. Eventually I went to Home Depot and found this: copper or aluminum connectors! What a release. I really didn't want to lay a new wire. Of course I had to buy heat shrink tubing to cover them after splicing, but it was easy to find. The only mistake I made was that I bought some of them with glue (I would have preferred pure shrinking to make them easier to maintain). I intentionally added a lot of words to this review that would help me find this product. As I'm the first to leave a review I hope this helps others.
