Review on Texas Hold'em Claytec Poker Chip Set - 11.5g, 500 Striped Dice Chips, Aluminum Case by Thomas Unruh

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pleasantly surprised

If you think about it, just buy it. It's worth the money for how affordable it is. I was fortunate to receive the set with no damage to the case or contents unlike some other buyers. The chips are pretty damn good considering the price of the set and I really like that it has 5 suits instead of 4 like the other top rated set. The reason I can't give it a perfect 5 star rating is because of a few things, but nothing I would really complain about. First, and perhaps most frustratingly, I'm missing two red chips. I know, I know. as much as 2 chips out of 150, haha. Exactly, so not a super big problem. The rest are just things that might be worth mentioning for those who are interested, but that doesn't bother me at all. Some chips have minor, I mean minor, typographical errors such as missing dots on the chip in the design or stripes that are slightly different. The dealer, SB, and BB buttons don't look like they've been stamped enough or fully. For example, the corner of the L on the dealer button is hidden. Again, it doesn't matter, but some may. The cards are of poor quality but I have my own bike decks so I don't care. The case is ok, maybe a little wobbly for some, but will probably hold up well if handled carefully/carefully. It's a 500 piece set with 5 suits, two decks of cards and buttons in a shiny case for under $50 - just buy it. Keep your expectations reasonable and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
