Short-lived home decor products

The plastic holding the cords in place broke on each of the lampshades (I bought 3 x 2 per lampshade = 6 broken pieces). It's good that there is an internal METAL part that you can tie a string to. The purpose of plastic is unclear, and with metal it is unnecessary. However, I had to lower and raise each lampshade and then tie it to the metal parts, which was tedious. For $33, I expect everything to be ready to use, especially if you're buying multiples
