Seems to fit very similarly to a standard lock, went in the same place with a few modifications to the door handle, but it wasn't a lock fault as it was worked on by dummies in the past. Closes the front door with no problems. Seems sturdy enough to last, overall it was a good buy. I would recommend it as an option for more expensive products. I would suggest slightly larger diameter bolts to make it easier to use the same holes as the previous latch. Update: I slam the door 30 times a day and am completely satisfied with this bolt until it breaks.
